Void Blaster is an authentic love letter to vector-arcade legends of the 1970s and 1980s. Boasting momentum-based rotational physics, seamless multi-directional screen wrapping, and polygon rock fracturing mechanics, this browser game tests pure spatial piloting dexterity.

Flight Controls

  • Rotate Left / Right: Press A / D or Left / Right Arrow. On mobile, tap the ↺ and ↻ buttons.
  • Fire Main Thruster: Press W or Up Arrow, or hold THRUST to engage plasma acceleration. Remember: you will continue drifting in your current vector due to zero-gravity momentum!
  • Fire Photon Cannons: Press the Spacebar or tap the FIRE button to launch rapid-fire energy bolts.
  • Screen Wrapping: Flying off the left edge immediately reappears on the right edge, and flying off the top immediately re-enters from the bottom!

Tactical Piloting Recommendations

  • Don’t Over-Thrust: The most common cause of death in asteroid fields is excessive drift velocity. Use brief, tap-sized thruster burns and counter-steer to control your speed.
  • Clear One Asteroid Family at a Time: Large asteroids split into two medium fragments, which each fracture into two small fast-moving pebbles. Destroying all fragments of a single asteroid before splitting another prevents the screen from becoming overwhelmingly congested.
